Bit Part

Posted on Mon 8th Jan, 2007, 4:32pm

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/20, Aperture: f/2.2,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Medium,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 3rd January 2007, 6:32pm,

This is a car park I walk past every day. I decided to kill time (delayed train) by grabbing some shots similar to this one but as I was taking a test shot, this cyclist went past and I quite liked the resulting picture.

Being a test shot, I hadn't framed properly so this is a bit more heavily cropped than I'd like. It won't be any good for making into a poster but it's fine for the blog.

Oh wow! Nice one Jamey. I have a motion blur shot myself but never thought it would look good on a blog. You've made me want to post mine now.

Wouldn't have had a clue what the blurr was if you hadn't have said. The black/yellow posts stand out really nicely against the background

Spot on Jamey, I really like this style. People often assume that motion blur images are just an accident or rubbish technique but there is so much more to it than that. This is great. Mal

I like the arrow pointing towards the blurred figure - great shot.

Nice yellow repetition throughout and the clincher is that arrow.
