Happy Homes

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/200, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 21st January 2006, 3:44pm,

This was taken on some random DLR station platform when I was out with Jeff and Ghost a while back. I was instantly drawn to the way the shadow was being projected on the wall behind.

It's a shame the light hasn't picked out any strands of the web, since it looks like the spider's just falling through the air but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Very cool! I love the shadow of the spider and the contrast of the background. It looks like you captured it falling in midair. Nice one.

Yes. Good shot and well-spotted. And it does look like a free-falling spider.
