Street Hawk

Posted on Tue 7th Mar, 2006, 4:24pm

ISO: 200, Shutter speed: 1/3, Aperture: f/2.8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 10th February 2006, 5:24pm,

This isn't a great shot on its own but it's slightly related to yesterday's post, in as much as this was taken on the piece of road that you can see in the bottom right corner of the photo.

It's very random. I was walking along, looking at a few shots on the screen and thought "I know, I'll use a long shutter speed and track a car as it passes and see what it looks like," so I did. Only the next thing to come past was a bike, not a car. This is the result and, since it looked better than I expected, I kept it. Today seems like a decent opportunity to post it.

Vision of a despatch rider couriering an urgent piece of spaghetti. Like the sense of speed here and the squiggle of the rear light.
