Untitled #8

Posted on Mon 29th May, 2006, 1:22pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/60, Aperture: f/5.6,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM, Focal length: 20mm,
Captured: 23rd May 2006, 1:07pm,

This is the partner shot to yesterday's for no better reason than because it shows the same estate in the background and was taken at the same time.

I know it's the wrong way up. I liked it this way round.

I'm really liking these under saturated shots Jamey! Although I can't help tilting my head sideways when I look at this one, probably would have prefured it the other way around - but thats just me!

Works well how you've got it on a side, like everything about it.

I think I would have liked it either way around. Nice shot.

With the photo on it's side and the DOF, it adds to the confusion/mystery, it forces you to mentally wrangle with the image to decipher it.

Put the image the right way up Jamey ffs! :D Lovely use of DOF on this mate and not too much processing to make it look "unnatural" (reversed Blue curve?). You should really take more nature shots Jamey as it is good for the soul.

i too think i would prefer it the other way, but it is a fantastic shot

Ha...I think it's great Jamey, nice and quirky being on its side.
