Title:
Our Sunrise #2

Play On

Posted on Mon 19th Jun, 2006, 2:10pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/320, Aperture: f/11,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: 2:1,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 2nd June 2006 4:36pm,

A fair amount of photography can be put down to luck and I guess this is one of those shots. I saw the four people with their golf clubs going across the bridge and thought it made for a good picture.

I didn't notice at the time but the kid at the back of the group walking under the bridge is holding a blanket out behind him, like a cape. Unfortunately I haven't brought it out very well in processing (well, not in the low-res version you see here, anyway) but it's still a nice touch, I think.

This is great! It's like you were abroad somewhere exciting! Was this Whitby again?

I like the lighting on this. Shame we can't see the little kid clearly.

Bex - yep, Whitby. Jon - I agree. If I was at home, I'd have another stab at bringing out the group below the bridge but I'm at work. Might try later, dunno.

Maybe the shot of the kid would be better as a seperate pic? I like the fact that the main focus is on the golfers.

Stunning work! Great moment! Michael

It is a good shot, but as you mention I would prefer the kid and mother to be more in view on the image as opposed to them being neither in or out of it. Nice shade of processing though Jamey.

Cool Shot. I too would have liked to see the kid stand out a bit more. Other that that its a very good shot and some good processing. =)
