Tonight was bonfire night here in the UK., That's when we let off a load of fireworks to celebrate the fact that Guy Fawkes didn't manages to blow up the houses of parliament 400 years ago.

One of the best displays around here is in a little village called Brockham. After the main fireworks display they auction off parts of a two-tailed pig that's been roasted on a spit all evening. The pig has two tails becuase it's been bred specially. Appraently there's only one two-tailed pig born every year in England and they get it.

Anyway the picture is of the guy running the auction. The bag he's holding contains part of a pig. I forget which bit (took a lot of pics) but the head bits and crackling seemed to generate the most interest.

Unsharp mask (if that's what you did) on the microphone makes it look a bit unreal m8. Sorry :/

Aye, it's not the best pic I've ever taken. None of them were. Best of a bad bunch really. I should've got closer and had the pig auction sign in the background. Was quite busy though. And I just got home and crashed out with the missus so put this up quickly. Cheers for the criticism though.

Blimey - that auction seems one step away from the Wicker Man. Good shot - the pose looks like an auctioneer - he's pointing in one direction but keeping an eye open for other potential bidders.
