Yes, I know it's another shallow depth of field shot but I like them so there. What's more, tomorrow's shot is in a similar vein.

This is the penultimate photo from Whitby and the red bit of wood is the top of one of the cabinets that holds those orange lifesaver ring things. The ones you throw into the water if someone's drowning. Y'know, them.

Strangely enough even though the wood is in focus, I'm drawn to the out of focus towers. I guess that's a lot to do with the pier railings leading across the frame so composition is spot on. And I can't tell if its dusk or mid morning which I currently like in photos at present.

great detail at the bottom and i like the moody sky, you have the dof just right too

Good DOF and the focusing of the wood. I also like the bit of darkness at the top of the sky.

I do know them! not sure abou tthis one. But its not down to the shallow DOF... I think its the amount of sky in the shot... could probably do with cropping out a little? other than that I really like it! brilliant colours
