This was taken as I cycled home from work yesterday. My route takes me through Mitcham and then past a patch of land that's pretty much derelict. It was a good sunset yesterday, good enough to make me stop and take some photos.

I suppose if I was more arty and/or serious I might try to talk about the juxtaposition of getting 'traditional' landscape shots from a bit of urban wasteland but I'm not so I won't.

There's a partner to this that I'll post tomorrow.

Heh it looks really wierd in a nice sort of way, the foreground looks all kind of 3dish or something.

The colors are incredible, even the grass in the foreground appears to be shimmering in an effort to keep up with the sky's show.
