Preach On

Posted on Sat 12th Nov, 2005, 7:20pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/80, Aperture: f/3.5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 12th November 2005, 5:14pm,

This is the sunset from Bex's window earlier this evening. I know sunset shots are a bit played out but I didn't get much chance to shoot anything else today.

I went down to Southampton to buy this hoody and did have a go at taking a few photos but my car was parked on a meter so I didn't have much time. Also my Sat Nav gizmo decided it'd be fun to reset my home location to some random place in Brighton. About halfway to Fareham I decided something wasn't quite right, pulled over and reset it to my actual home address but it still cost me a good hour or so (not to mention the petrol, which my car guzzles).

I've done a fair amount of contrast tweaking with the RAW file for this shot but hardly anything in photoshop besides the bog-standard sharpen.
