Don't Shoot

Posted on Mon 18th Sep, 2006, 10:44pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/2500, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 20mm,
Captured: 10th August 2006, 5:57pm,

If you think the horizon is sloping downhill you're gravely mistaken.

Sorry, I couldn't resist that. Ok so it's sloping. Who cares? I like it sloping. It's slope-tastic.

The previous shot and this one aren't very good but their purpose will become more clear over the next ten days or so. Hopefully. I think.

Not my favourite. Slope-tastic isn't a real word and it never should be either!!!

LMAO! @ sloptastic

It is too a real word. It's word-tasticly real.

Wait a minute, I didn't even notice the slope at first look. I love this backlit scene and the details you captured in the bright sky. And frankly, I think ever photographer gets to create three new words in their life time to justify a shot that "breaks a standard."

in life we are in death...saw it on a gravestone somewhere and have been puzzling over it ever since! good shot.
