"Well I guess this must have been in Ramsgate around Summer 1949 - just look at that tan. Of course I still have the same Angel face. Dad must have taken this photo but unfortuately I can't remember much about it. A very scary looking horse, truly a classic vintage pic.

"Now here's some technical stuff: all the pics at Ramsgate and Warner's were taken on a good old Box Brownie and later a little black Brownie plastic camera. No lighting, flash, flashy lenses or Photoshop. Good, eh?

"I hope you have enjoyed the nostalgia as much as I have. I've loved your comments and now it's your turn to delight us with your vintage pics - I want to see that afro!"
