Reflection

Posted on Wed 16th Nov, 2005, 5:21pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/6.3,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 18mm,
Captured: 16th November 2005, 2:01pm,

As I took the camera out of the bag on my lunch break I spotted the way the light was coming through the windows in this empty room. When I got closer I saw that the building I work in was reflected in the glass so I played with a few angles.

The colour version was ok but when I tried it in black and white it looked loads better so I went with it. As with all reflection photos I had to bump the contrast a fair bit to stop it looking milky and washed out but I think the result's pretty good considering.

Definitely one of the images I'm more fond of.

Love it chap, one of your best. Looks like trick photography in a way. A++

Cheers mush. I know what you mean about trick photography. I guess it is, in a way. But I like it.

I know. But it's not. Cross my heart and hope to die. All one pic.

This so very much look like the building I just started (on Monday) working in...I will have to post a photo soon to compare.

One of the best images in your blog (well, my favourite image in your blog). Ghostly and dynamic, brilliant.
