Title:
Hostile Waters

Untitled #32

Posted on Sun 12th Nov, 2006, 9:04pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/2.8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 5th November 2006, 2:22pm,

I don't normally post on Sundays but going to exhibitions with David yesterday opened my eyes a bit and made me want to do more.

Consequently I want to start the week with some newer stuff tomorrow and so I'm putting this up in order to get rid of it, in a sense.

That doesn't mean I don't like this shot, just that I want to keep things moving now I've got a bit of energy.

Aaargh the right bin has the top right of it missing!! It is clashing with my OCD! Love the colours in this though and especially the traffic cone. p.s. No texture either?

What a lovely array of colours! Although my favourite bit is the hand print on the wall (top right).

Hah, I never noticed that hand print. Now I feel a right doofus. Sys - Texture usually ends up darkening a picture and this was a bit dark already, plus I didn't really want to emphasise dirt with this one, I figured the bins did that on their own.

Go back and get the hand print!

What Jide said :) I like the grungy feel of this one.

Lovely red and yellows with the cone anchoring the image. This is the sort of shot I wish I had an eye for.

Great shot. I love the double yellow lines running across the shot.
