Calamity

Posted on Wed 29th Nov, 2006, 4:49pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/80, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 18th November 2006, 5:08pm,

Not my best work but then again, there wouldn't be any such thing as a best work if everything else was as good as it.

Plus it kinda sums up today for me. Roll on the end of the week.

Not sure why you're so unhappy with it, its not your usual style but I like.

Oooh, that's a bit nice. I think it's a great shot. the differing cloud contrasts look excellent.

This is up there with your other good ones Jamey. I like it's simplicity.

One of my favourites - I just love horizons and clouds. Beautiful pic.

I'm feeling this one wouldn't be much without the sillouette, but i DO like it.

Matey - this is fab. The tones, the clouds, the subject matter all with the person exiting the frame leaving all the drama behind.

Toning works very well, excellent cloud formations.

I agree that the human figure give this image it's punch and scale. And nice observation about the important and often underappreciated role of less than best work :)

Looks like the shot is comprised of 3 colours or something which is really effective, the person just tops it all off.

Jamey, Thu 30th Nov, 2006, 12:50pm
Heh... "Excellent cloud formations." I wish I could take the credit for that :)

Really like this. Just wish the walker wasn't so close to the edge of the frame. I'm picking though as it really is nice.
