Title:
Morning After

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/50, Aperture: f/11,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: 3 Lights, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM, Focal length: 16mm,
Captured: 14th December 2006, 10:35pm,

This is my brother. I borrowed some lights off a friend recently and needed a model to shoot once I'd finished messing about.

I've got a lot to learn about lighting but I am reasonably happy with this. I know there's a big shadow behind him which won't be to everyone's tastes but it was deliberate and I do quite like it.

This has been processed in Photoshop but not in my usual, creative way. All the decisions I made were based around getting the image to look 'true.' So it's a by-the-book processing job, I guess.

Dude..I think this is perfect and the shadow too ads to the shot. What I think you should be watchful of is the shadows on the face, they can be horrible if you don't get it right.

I think the lighting looks a little bit harsh for a true to life feel. It looks menacing, which I like, but I'm not sure that's what you were after.

Might want to have done something about the shadow under your brother's forehead and above his nose, as it is he looks like he's wearing one of those novelty noses. No offence meant, it's just the impression I got :)

Good effort Jamey. I can see where your coming from with the 'real' processing, although that lighting comes across as something different - but I cant put my finger on it. However, that wallpaper is fricken ace

Oh my goodness, Jamo you actually really look like your bro and I've never seen it before. Well done!

This, for some reason, reminds of those DJ shots you took in Bradford. Possibly the lighting or even the processing... I'm not sure.

Shot looks too busy to me. Distracting. Good lighting though. Ace.
