Untitled #63

Posted on Thu 9th Aug, 2007, 9:19pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/1250, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Custom,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 11th July 2007, 6:40pm,

I want to know where you think this was taken, because it has that "could be anywhere" quality for me, which is why I like it.

Hey J, this is a really good Jamey type shot. Okay what's up with the tilt? I'm really tilting my neck here!

I just thought it looked too boring without the tilt.

Personally not keen on the tilt as the buildings don;t need it. The repetition alone is worth the shot.

I thought the tilt looked odd at first, but as it makes the three rooftops line up it then gives it a new perspective a bit like some of the camera work done in the original Batman TV series. Looks like Docklands, but could easily be Holland or Denmark/Sweden :)

I reckon it could be somewhere typically British, but there seems to be a more 'exotic' feel to the buildings in the background? Hmmm. ;-)

The tilt could be caused by the building on the left being a lot heavier than the other two. That would cause it to tip up alright.
