Dungeness Boat #1

For the first part of the day we had moody skies and for the second part (after lunch) we had glorious, low sunlight so I've got lots of photos where I've captured the object in both lighting conditions.

I think I'll start with some moody ones, though I'll probably get bored and start chopping and changing soon.

Stunning. I have to say, you're very good when it comes to colouring Jamey - I always think about your work when I'm post processing. Good job.

Strange you should say that, I haven't actually done any colouring here, I don't think. If I did it was extremely subtle as I tried to keep it quite neutral. I also tried to keep the histogram well within boundaries so there was detail everywhere.

I think it was a fair way along and back from the shingle a bit. I also suspect that I probably used the low angle to hide a load of other crap behind it but I can't actually remember as I've got about twenty similar boat shots that I'll probably end up posting and they all blur into one.
