A Clear Head

Posted on Wed 7th May, 2008, 3:34pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/3200, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, Focal length: 35mm,
Captured: 1st May 2008, 11:24am,

This was taken in Padstow during a recent trip down to Cornwall with friends, on the day of the 'Obby 'Oss.

I tried a few different angles but this was my favourite compromise between minimalism and actually seeing something of interest.

very nice, the cup really adds something and the sky really reminds me of chromasia! and got damn that lens is sharp

It is very sharp and the processing is top notch. That sky is fantastic and despite not being a fan of that selected colouring look, I think the beer glass works rather well.

This works really well, excellent processing.

Great shot. The cup really draws you in and I love the sky/clouds. Personal preference would have been to crop 2:1.

Beautyful shot ! Sharpnes, colour, composition. Everything works !

I like this one very much. Great sky and the subtle colouring in the drink is a real winner.

in my opinion there is no need to manipulate colours. this one would work perfectly in pure b&w.

Immersed with light, and the colour is subtle.
