BDC V Week: Cos I'm Worth It

Posted on Wed 14th Dec, 2005, 7:31pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/160, Aperture: f/5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 10th December 2005, 12:51pm,

This was in the Laines, on a walkabout with Matt, James and Dave. The mannequin is tied to a post outside a shop and there was a bright ray of sun shining on it which meant that the background came out nice and dark, making the 'girl' stand out more.

Photos of mannequins can often look a bit creepy but I think this one has quite a friendly feel about it for some reason. Not sure why.

I wanted to experiment with a few more angles but it was quite crowded and I'd already got in a couple of people's way just taking this shot so I moved on. But to be honest, I'm not sure that other angles would've been much better, if at all.
