Untitled #2

Posted on Thu 2nd Mar, 2006, 5:22pm

ISO: 200, Shutter speed: 1/40, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 22nd February 2006, 2:17pm,

I think the thing I like about this photo is the broken symmetry due to the variations in the wood, but to be honest, I'm not 100% sure.

It was taken in an alleyway near work on a day when I was lacking inspiration, so I forced myself to take some photos. Apart from that, there's not really anything I can say.

Too scary, reminds me of Jeepers Creepers, ugh!

I'm not sure how the curvature, that is the grain, will come to reoccur... in circular. Nice pic :)

Cool shot- looks like two eyes or something. I like the detailing in the wood as well.

Lovely and sharp! I can't help but see a pair of hands cupping binoculars though :)

Nice shot there..and I see binoculars too....reminds me a bit of the cover of Equinox by Jean-Michel Jarre....

What's that in the holes?

Jamey, Fri 3rd Mar, 2006, 1:07am
Oh yeah. Binoculars. I hadn't even noticed them. That's what I love about shots like this, different people noticing different things. Christian - rather boringly, I think it's just some garage doors.
