Natural Self 3

Posted on Sat 11th Mar, 2006, 9:17pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/80, Aperture: f/6.3,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, Focal length: 27mm,
Captured: 23rd October 2005, 2:47pm,

This is kinda the opposite to yesterday's shot in as much as this is a fairly 'true' portrait (in my opinion) but as a photo in its own right, I'm not as keen on it as the other two.

Although I think the colours tie together better here because yellow and black always looks nice and the stripes on the jumper help, plus I like how they're perpendicular to the background.

Nice n clear! Too much like the other other shot tho for me, but still very good nonetheless! Bet he is a "bugger" with the ladies ;-)

Jamey, for me this shot is better than yesterday's shot because of the relation between the yellow background and the perpanducular stripes. Just i would frame without the right brown side .

Perhaps I should shed a little light on this photo... Both me and Jeff were taking shots of him and passing cars kept beeping bacause they thought he must be famous. I grabbed this shot in a little break when he was laughing at all the attention.

He is famous now! I like the natural stance and candid aspect.

Its hard to take a good photo of yourself. They both are very good. Moeview

Moeview - it took me a couple of minutes to work out what you meant there. I think my poor titling has caused some confusion. Natural Self is the name this guy uses to record under (he's a producer). It's not a self portrait. I'm much uglier than that.

I too was a little confused because of the titling but figured it out when you never mentioned yourself... I think this one does capture more of his personality that was lacking in the previous. Its very topshop, what with the change in clothes and all...

Ah, I can state that Jamo is just as good looking. I LOVE this pic, it's ultra trendy.
