Pier Pressure

Posted on Wed 7th Jun, 2006, 1:47pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 30 secs, Aperture: f/5,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM, Focal length: 10mm,
Captured: 3rd June 2006, 3:20am,

On the left we have Chris (again) and on the right is Jonathan, having a snooze after a long night of drinking and photography.

I think this is one of my favourites from Whitby, having failed miserably to get a picture of a bearded fisherman snapping his braces.

You just love shooting homeless people don't you! :D I like this, not for the processing or the composition or anything else technical, but because it's another picture that reminds me of when we went to Whitby. What did thet little girl say to milou? "I take pictures so I can look back at the places I've been".

I think David asked her why she liked taking photos and she said "so you can look at them when you're old and see what you've done" or something like that, but the point's the same. And I agree, that's why I like this too.
