A Little Light On The Subject

Posted on Mon 7th Nov, 2005, 8:12pm

ISO: 400, Shutter speed: 1/30, Aperture: f/5.6,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, Focal length: 55mm,
Captured: 30th October 2005, 5:45pm,

Something milou said about photoblogs allowing you to concentrate on everyday moments that would otherwise be lost made me go and dig this shot out.

It was taken on the same day I did the I Heart Melissa shot and was just one of those things that caught my eye as I walked down the street. The colours were similar and from where I was standing the street light (seem to have a fixation with street lights) fitted neatly over the building.

I realise that the lines seem a bit wonky, the sky isn't great and you can see some image noise but still... I likes it :)

Excellent shot! Monster sized lampost or untowering tower?

Whee, purdy colouring! If the sky was a little more blue it'd be excellent. Unfortunately it's merely very very good :)

I just love the shapes and colours-as you say, J, a serendipitous moment but you saw and captured it!
