Cash On The Spot

Posted on Fri 11th Aug, 2006, 5:27pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/5.6,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: None, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM, Focal length: 10mm,
Captured: 11th August 2006, 2:12pm,

I'm not sure how I feel about this but I was quite smugly contented with yesterday's so I feel like I'm allowed to post a below-par effort today :)

Shot this just now, I spotted the little girl's sunglasses so I pushed the button as I walked past (camera was down by my side so it was blind) in the hope of getting something usable.

The result was quite blurred so I did the only thing I could and blurred it even more around the edges to give the illusion that the middle is sharper.

Dude, this is soooo not below par at all. This is awesome. I really like your street photographs. I think that's one thing I think you do really well in. Again not below par to me.

Yep this is a good one. The angle is cool and I like the tone here.

The blur and the angle makes me feel dizzy, nice shot I like it.

LOL ... I love it that you explained to us how you were tricking us. Jamey, always a treat here and as usual I enjoy your sense of humor.

Cool processing work, looks like a Holga shot. Great catch!!

I bet the interest rates are competitive too. As micki, says, it's a Holga shot. The signs are screaming.

It's amazing. To me this image stands head and shoulders above yesterdays and just illustrates how we all perceive images in our own way. This just smacks of urban reality and leaves the viewer wondering what the subjects are thinking. Is the woman looking to buy someone elses jewelrey or is she checking prices to see what she can get for her own because she needs money. The child in the trolley couldn't care less because she is happily dressed up for the day. I love it.

Looks good to me from here Jamey matey :) I think you are being to hypercritical of yourself again (for a change)
