Even More Gripping

Posted on Thu 19th Jan, 2006, 12:02am

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/10, Aperture: f/8,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: Side, Cropping: Minor,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 50mm,
Captured: 17th January 2006, 9:32pm,

This is the partner to yesterday's shot. Again it's using flash off-camera to get more depth to the shadows.

I'm not sure which of the two I prefer. I keep changing my mind. I like the texture on this one but the colour of yesterday's.

I can't decide if the fact that only one of the grey bars is in really sharp focus is a good thing or a bad thing. Anyway it's late and I'm off to bed. Night.

Like this one better than yesterdays, something almost architectural about it.

Funny you should say that, I was thinking of using it for the trickery photo comp (theme: architecture) but decided it'd be a bit of a liberty.

Enter the comp, they won't let you win but at least you'll do something different - (according to dictionary.com you're well within your rights). Ha ha.

I have to agree this is better then yesterday's shot. It has more depth and character. Enter the comp.
