Axe to Grind

Posted on Thu 19th Jan, 2006, 11:10pm

ISO: 100, Shutter speed: 1/5, Aperture: f/4,
Camera: Canon EOS 20D, Flash: On-board, Cropping: None,
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC, Focal length: 28mm,
Captured: 18th January 2006, 10:36pm,

I went to see a couple of mate's bands last night, namely Klam and Runner. Both put on a great show as always. Well done lads.

This is a picture of Jon Bishop, who's in Klam. The background was pretty dark to begin with but I've darkened it further to focus attention smartly on Jon because he's the sole reason for this shot. Nothing else mattered as I pressed the button and I didn't want anything else to matter in the finished article either.

Oh my God, I reckon Jon would absolutely love this. He looks like a proper rock star dude. I'll have to marry someone else now so you can do my wedding pics coz you're ace!

Another photo that influences me to pack it all in and be a chef instead. Great stuff Jamey - you got the skill of tonnes.

Shut up. Just shut up. You're entire site knocks everything I've done into a cocked hat. Plus it wasn't great to start with. Sorting the background made all the difference.

Er, in other news ... back to the photo ... Lovely bit of flash photography there, I am impressed. I'd love to see the pre-processed shot for curiosity's sake. Well done.
