Orange Bars

This is the lift area where I work. I didn't really notice the repetition of vertical bars type thing until I looked back at it just now.

I should probably make an effort to do a 'proper' ISO 100 shot with a tripod but security at work are getting quite nazi about taking photos (you're not meant to do it without a permit). Every time I point my camera at anything outside the building one of them appears round the corner and tells me off.

Anyway I'm seeing a lot of the world by night at the moment. At least that's how it feels. So with the nights drawing in I think I might keep the orange theme going (orange being the colour of street lights in my part of the world, in case any foreigners were wondering).

Let me know what you think. Orange. Yay or nay?

Lovely shot, as milou says it has a really "warm" feel to it. I'd be tempted to have the vertical fluorescent tubes on the right slightly further over to the left. I feel I'm looking too far to the right of the image.

You may well be right spl@t. Unfortunately the other wall got in the way and the reflections didn't look as good when I stood further left.

Why not take pictures of interesting things, ask my dad for advice, he may suggest the dents in the garage door for instance or the life sapping effects his terminally boring anicdotes have on others relating to the dents in said garage door.

i quite like the orangeness of it tbh, that and it looks like a screenshot from the movie 'collateral' when tom cruise is trying to kill Jada Pinkett :D

I dunno, not sure I like this one. Can't really say why. Just doesn't have the appeal of the previous ones. An orange theme is cool though. Well, warm. You know what I mean.
